Food Pantry

The Fairview Food  Pantry opened its doors in November of 2009 with plans to share food with 5-7 hungry families brought to us by the Voluntary Action Center. We are now assisting 15-18 families each month with nonperishable food items and personal care items for members of these families both young and old. The Pantry is stocked and operated by members of the church.

St. Francis Men's House

The St. Francis Men's House provides overnight shelter for approximately 10-12 homeless individuals.  The majority of the guests suffer from mental illness or have a history of substance abuse.  The House is open during the evening hours to people who live on the street, the near-homeless, food-insecure people, or anyone who wants to visit the community. They offer a place to relax out of the elements and enjoy community. They also provide breakfast and a light supper on a daily basis to homeless and home insecure persons in Columbia.  In addition to the overnight guests, they generally serve an additional 10-20 people at these meals.

Two Sundays each month Fairview Road provides hot meals for the House.
