Do-ing where you are Be-ing

Paul wanted to go Rome...but the way he got there was not in the way he probably expected or probably wanted – by appealing to Caesar which caused him to be in house arrest in Rome for a few years. Not what Paul, a traveling apostle, likely had in mind. But our mind is not God’s mind, and Paul figured out a way to live with joy in circumstances that are not ideal or what he had planned. How can we still “Do Something” for God even when our circumstances are not as we had planned?
